Getting in Touch With Spiritual Energy

Spiritual Energy is a force that surrounds you and is linked to your emotions. It’s been known by many names-Qi, Chi, Prana, Mana-depending on your belief system.

It’s often portrayed as a person glowing or emanating light. It’s also been documented by Kirlian photography. It is a force like gravity, invisible yet very real.

Meditation

Getting in touch with your spiritual energy can be done through meditation. It allows you to tune into your inner self and feel a sense of calm and clarity. Meditation can also help you to release negative thoughts and feelings and to let positive energies flow through you.

During meditation, you can focus on the breath, or use visualization. It is important to find a quiet and comfortable spot that you can sit or lie down in. Sit cross-legged on a cushion, or sit comfortably on a chair with your feet grounded to the earth. If your mind wanders, simply bring it back to focusing on the breathing.

Another meditation technique is to visualize yourself surrounded by a sphere of radiant light, symbolizing protection and divine energy. Then, expand into this light and merge with it. Once you are ready to come out of your meditation, gently bring your awareness back to your physical body and the surroundings around you.

Visualization

Visualization has been used throughout human history to connect with a higher energy. Some religions use it to visualize the energies of a particular deity, while others use it to envision their most elevated selves and the possibilities of that new reality.

To build energy, simply imagine a place where you feel completely safe and relaxed. It could be somewhere real, like a waterfall or your childhood home, or something you create in your mind’s eye. Involve all of your senses as you visualize this place. Feel the sights, smells, sounds, and textures to make it as vivid as possible.

Intuition

Spiritual intuition is a sense of knowing that comes from the innermost parts of yourself. It is your inner compass and guides you in ways that are often invisible to the intellect. Your ego and logical brain may try to shut off your intuition, but it will continue to try to guide you in the right direction.

Spiritual intuitive guidance can take many forms, like a “gut feeling,” a hunch, or sudden inspiration. It can also come in the form of a physical sensation, such as tingling or goosebumps. It is important to recognize when you are experiencing a spiritual intuition and then trust it.

Unlike fear, which tends to dominate the inner airwaves, intuition is quiet. It requires your patient attention to emerge, much like a Polaroid photo that needs time to develop. Practice tracking intuitive moments and you can train yourself to connect with this inner compass more easily. If you listen and trust, your inner guidance will shift the day-to-day outcomes in your favor.

Healing

Many spiritual energy healing modalities involve using hands-on manipulation to influence putative energies to help people heal. This includes reiki, healing touch, acupuncture, qigong, and other practices.

Energy healing aims to get your body into homeostasis by clearing physical and emotional knots and blockages. It can also boost the immune system, enhance sleep quality, and remove toxins.

Awakening your spiritual energy can help you become one with the universe. You can then use this power to attract what you want and need into your life.

Some people are better at recognizing and harnessing their spiritual energy than others. You might be the type of person who has an energy coursing through you all the time or who has had a lot of success healing dying cacti or sick animals or plants. Other people may find they can access their spiritual energy more easily through meditation, yoga, reiki, and other practices. Spiritual energy isn’t something that is restricted to any particular religious belief or practice.
