Emotionally healthy people are also aware of how their words and actions affect others. This includes avoiding self-depreciating talk and embracing the concept of self-compassion. Self-compassion means treating yourself with kindness and care when you experience difficult emotions, like anger, by recognizing that everyone gets angry sometimes.
Physical

It is important to understand that all dimensions of wellness are interconnected and problems in one area can influence all other areas.
Environmental
Environmental wellness is about occupying pleasant and stimulating environments that support well-being. It also means recognizing how personal actions affect the environment and its natural resources and animals.
This is especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people are able to improve their environmental wellness simply by making sure they wear reusable cloth masks when needed and turning off lights and electronics when not in use. Other easy and effective steps to take include utilizing local, greener transportation options like biking or walking, purchasing locally-grown foods at local farmers markets and supporting local environmental organizations.
Several studies have shown that the more time an individual spends in nature, the healthier they are. In particular, the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing (soaking in the forests atmosphere), has been linked to improved mental health and even longevity. The practice is essentially meditation in nature. It’s a great way to boost vitamin D, too! Writing is a great way to express your thoughts and feelings, and it can help you better understand yourself. A daily journaling routine can be an important component of your spiritual wellness. Using a journal to record your daily experiences, values and beliefs can also be an effective tool for tracking spiritual growth over time.
